Do you know the feeling when you come up with a great username for your account, but then the username is already taken? It’s never a fun time when that happens. Don’t you wish there was an app that tells you when a username becomes available so you can snatch it up? Well, now there is! For Twitter anyway.

Last week, CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, announced that they will soon be cancelling many dormant accounts on the platform.

Twitter Handles

These inactive accounts being removed means that their usernames will become available for users once again. So how will you know when the handle you want becomes free to take? The new app, handle.horse, created by Marc Köhlbrugge tracks Twitter account statuses and the availability of handles. All you have to do is enter the Twitter handle or handles you want to track and enter your email. Once that handle becomes available, you will be notified so you can quickly claim it as your own.

This simple new tool by Köhlbrugge can be extremely useful to those who have had an eye on a specific handle for themselves or their business. Now, we are not sure when Musk’s account review will be taking place, but handle.horse will ensure that you are aware of it when it does.
