According to The Next Web, Facebook has been testing a “Floating Videos” feature that allows users to simultaneously watch videos and scroll through their News Feed with the click of a button.
Essentially, this button would allow videos to be moved anywhere on the screen while users scroll through recent the latest updates from their friends and favorite brands. For power users who love to watch videos, this feature would make simultaneous scrolling and video viewing a breeze, especially if a user is watching a longer video.
Native Facebook Videos have recently skyrocketed in popularity according to Business Insider, and now many brands will seriously question if YouTube is in trouble as the No. 1 platform for video.
