Article:  8 Types of Rich Media to Share on Google+

When you put great media content onto your Google+ pages it can maximize your engagement with your viewers and visitors. Here are 4 commonsense, but often overlooked medias to put on your Google+ pages!

1. YouTube Videos
The way Youtube videos are directly integrated to Google+ makes video one of the most powerful things to share with in your circles. Keep these Youtube videos short and to the point because people don’t have time to sit through some long, drawn out piece of media.

2. GIFs
Pairing the right GIF with the right content can greatly amplify your message and grab viewers attention. The thing to make sure to watch out for when using GIFs is to stay away from mis-sized and out of focus cinemagraphs.

3. Audio
More directly than audio—podcasts through SoundCloud. In your SoundCloud, add a call to action in your post. Letting listeners know about new episodes or merely asking the viewers to answer a question or comment a response will raise engagement.

4. Images and Infographics
This does not mean that you should be posting pictures of your cats or your banged-up bumper from an accident earlier in the day. Attach the right graphic to your written content and create photos and infographics that are fun and eye-catching.
