When one of our own does something that we think is pretty ‘bad’, we tend to want to write about it and spread the love. Well, we have something very cool to share today.
Meet Brandon Desiderio, our special projects intern from Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa. Brandon is hoping to take on a once in a lifetime opportunity, a chance to work alongside professional journalists in Israel.
The Problem
Brandon is a college student and studying IN Israel apparently costs much more than simply reading updates from the top journalists in the Middle East.
An eager brain can only do much on a thin wallet.
The Solution = Crowdfunding

The kid is super crafty and has built an interesting campaign using fundmytravel.com. The campaign lists out his reasons for wanting to go, the actual job he’ll be taking on, and of course, the financial breakdown. We’re not the only ones that found this to be mega awesome.
