Following last week’s News Feed update, Facebook is continuing maintenance through an update for Pages.

The company is updating Pages through three updates – an updated timeline design, easier access to administrative tools and the addition of “Pages to Watch.”

“This week, we’ll begin rolling out a streamlined look for Pages on desktop that will make it easier for people to find the information they want and help Page admins find the tools they use most,” the social media giant said in a post on their Facebook for Business site.

The timeline’s design update consolidates all posts into the right side of the timeline. This allows posts to appear consistently in both the Page and user news feeds. The timeline’s left side features information related to the Page, such as hours of business, a map, a website URL and more.

Key page statistics such as ad information, new likes and notifications can be viewed anywhere on the page, and can be viewed through the “This Week” section. New navigation at the top of the Page allows easier access to activity, insights and settings, as well as a direct link to the Page’s Ads Manager account.

Facebook also added a new Pages to Watch feature, where administrators can create a list of pages similar to theirs and compare them vis-à-vis. Pages to Watch has six tabs set up for a comprehensive analysis of each watched page.

Facebook Pages now consolidate posts and information to two columns, allow Page information to be accessed with ease and let Pages see how they compare to other Pages. It’s an update that simplifies running a Page for an administrator while being simple enough for the Page’s audience to easily comprehend. It will roll out this week, but exclusively for web devices.
