While Facebook doesn’t yet have a “Dislike” button, it took a step in that direction by unveiling a thumbs down sticker for use in its Messenger app, according to Mashable.
In addition to the thumbs down icon, a sore thumb, peace sign and poke are available to download and use. The stickers can be downloaded from the Sticker Store inside a Messenger chat session.
Facebook users have been clamoring for a dislike button for years, and other social media sites – most notably YouTube – utilize a “thumbs down” feature.
Users may not be able to express dislike of a status update or another user’s comment, but dislike can still be expressed through messaging.
