Facebook is testing a new feature which allows people to publish a post but schedule how long it appears on their Facebook for. Users are able to set a time when they want the post to disappear from their timeline. The post can last from 1 hour to 7 days, which is called “Choose Expiration”.
Only some mobile phones may have this feature because Facebook is still testing this new feature. So your phone may or may not have it as of now.
Facebook is somewhat trying to keep up with all the new and updated social media, while Facebook has somewhat stayed the same. The new feature goes somewhat along the lines of the popular app Snapchat.
