LinkedIn continues to be a powerful social media platform for both businesses and individuals to take advantage of. The professional social network allows users to connect with businesses, potential employees or employers, search for jobs, and more. For companies, LinkedIn is a great way to build credibility, connect with other businesses and individuals in the workforce, and establish your presence to achieve real results.

Although LinkedIn was created to be a professional networking platform, they have begun making changes to their platform to improve the visual aspects of pages. LinkedIn has recently began adding new features to help company pages expand their content and make their feeds a bit more attractive for viewers.

LinkedIn is creating new post templates that are now becoming available to all company pages. The templates, as shown below, offer a wide range of options for companies to visually enhance their page.

So why would a company want to use these templates LinkedIn is offering? They may seem a bit more “unprofessional” than the usual content on LinkedIn, but a graphic with a pop of color can help your post drastically stand out in a page of black and white text.

In addition to new templates, LinkedIn is adding in new link stickers for company pages, which could help drive traffic to your website or other areas of your LinkedIn page.  They also recently started to allow LinkedIn company pages to pin comments on their posts to encourage more engagement.

The last feature LinkedIn has added is a “Our Featured Commitments” section on company pages, where firms can highlight their most important values, such as diversity, environmental sustainability, and more.
