In an effort to maintain a consistent look amongst mobile platforms, Twitter has unrolled a sleek, new look to its website.

The navigation bar is different, as is matches what is seen on iOS and Android devices. A user’s profile picture and header also appear in the left-hand corner on their home feed, compared to the minuscule profile picture seen in the previous version. Users also have the opportunity to customize their profiles even further with the use of accent colors.

“We’re now rolling out a refreshed twitter.com reflecting the look & feel of our iOS & Android apps,” the social media giant said in a tweet from its verified account.

The latest update is visual only – the site did not receive any additional functionality, and its mobile apps have not changed.

If you have yet to see the updated site, don’t fret – a small percentage of users have been selected to receive the update as an initial test. The update is expected to roll out in the near future.
