According to mashable.com, Twitter is now following in Facebook’s footsteps with an autoplay feature.
Twitter is now experimenting with autoplay for videos in timelines. Autoplay lets videos play while somebody is scrolling through their news feeds automatically without even needing to hit play.
Vine, a popular app that lets users post six-second videos, will not be included in this test.
Autoplay can grab users’ attention a lot easier rather than just skipping over it.
