TWITTER-2Twitter now is pushing advertiser’s promoted videos to Twitter feeds (just like it does with promoted tweets).

Promoted videos are a part of the Twitter Amplify Program, which holds a goal of promoting more television clips on Twitter.

Advertisers now will be able to upload their videos and scale engagement of each one posted, just as they were able to with promoted tweets.

In a blog post, David Regan, senior product manager of TV and Video at Twitter, expressed how incredible video is as a storytelling medium and his excitement for advertisers with this new advancement.

Twitter keeps getting more cluttered with things that users aren’t asking to see. Time will only tell if Twitter will get backlash for these small, but clutter-accumulating upgrades.
