The new design that Twitter was testing in February has been unrolled to user profiles starting Tuesday, according to Mashable. The new design boats a plethora of new features, and is similar in appearance to rivals Facebook and Google Plus.

User profile and header photos are expanded, with the profile being relocated to the top corner.  The header photo is now expanded to 1500-by-500 pixels, compared to its original 1252-by-626 size. The user bio appears under the photo, as well as their location, website and date they joined Twitter.

A user’s Tweets that feature increased engagement will be displayed more prominently in their timeline, while users also have the ability to pin tweets to the top of their timeline. Viewing other profiles can also let a user filter by all tweets, just tweets with photos and videos, or just tweets with replies.

The new profile update has been rolled out to select profiles – including some select celebrities as well as new users – and will continue to be rolled out to all profiles in the coming weeks.
