As 2016 is coming to an end, Uber has announced some new features to its service. You can now directly uber to people in your contact list, according to TechCrunch. You can even access custom Snapchat features during your Uber ride.
Uber’s new location feature allows you to request a one-time location share from your contacts and will be automatically set as your destination. This new feature adds convince to meeting up with your friends as you no longer need to figure out where to meet up. Basically, people are the the new places for Uber.
Uber integrates with Snapchat and allows you to use custom filters during your ride, similar to using the filters when you visit certain events and locations. An example of the new Snapchat features includes your estimated time of arrival.. Cool right?
