As reported last week by My TechSkool and Mashable, Facebook is testing a feature that would allow users to save links to articles to read later directly within Facebook. The “Read It Later” approach has already been popularized by apps such as Pocket and Instapaper, and now Facebook is testing out this service.
Users will see their saved articles listed in a new “Saved” app, which means Facebook users can now read articles or save them for later viewing without needing to leave Facebook.
While this feature is currently in early testing, it could have a huge impact on how users, especially those on mobile devices, choose to read content.
